2XO Oak Series French Oak is the latest release from Dixon Dedman’s award-winning 2XO brand, originating from Louisville, Kentucky. Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume (ABV), 92 proof, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey introduces an innovative double oak technique where chains of charred French Oak are inserted into barrels. With a rye content of 18% in the mash bill, the process increases the surface area for the bourbon to interact with the oak, intensifying maturation and bringing forward a distinctive balance of sweetness and spice.
